Burzghash

Race: Half Uruk-Hai, Half Human.

Age: Unsure, anywhere between 21 and 25

Height: 6'8''

Weight: 220 lbs

Background: Burzghash, or Dark Fire, is the son of an Uruk Hai, Urgakh, who fought in the legions of Isengard and barely escaped death at the hands of Rohan and the Huorns and Ents of Fangorn. He was found, severely wounded outside a Rohirric village by a young woman named Ellenwyn. She secretly nursed him back to health, taking pity upon the creautre of blackness who had shied away from her in fear of being slain after so many weeks of running. Eternally grateful for her kindness, and freed from Saruman's evil due to his death and the destruction of the One Ring, Urgakh became a personal bodyguard for Ellenwyn and over time also became her best friend. When she was 19, and they had known eachother for a good 10 years, Ellenwyn fell in love with Urgakh, and he with her, although due to his race, his love was most unorthodox in the eyes of a human, and although he was easily the most sensitive Uruk Hai alive by then, he was still considered unfeeling by many of Ellenwyn's neighbors and family. Their anger grew drastically on the day that Urgakh and Ellenwyn married. Later, it was redoubled when Ellenwyn became pregnant. Despite the hatred of her family and friends, Ellenwyn and Urgakh lived in marital bliss and there was great love between them, which seemed only to glow brighter upon the blessed day on which their son was born to them. Urgakh named him Burzghash, which in the Black Speech meant Darkfire, in hope that his son would grow to be a warrior with zeal and fury that burned like the fires of Orthanc.

Burzghash lived happily with his parents, until one dreaded morning when he and his father had gone out early to hunt. They had forgotten something, as fate would have it, and went back to their small home to retrieve it, arriving just in time to watch the ghastly scene of Ellenwyn's murder. Her own family stabbed her to death in her sleep as her son and husband watched in horror. Urgakh swept his son up into his arms and fled into the wilderness of Rohan.

After stopping at Isengard's ruins for supplies and acquiring a warg and a warg pup, Burzghash and Urgakh lived as nomads for 6 years, running from their pursuers. In the 6th year, Urgakh fell ill, and he knew that he would soon die to join his wife in the Halls of Mandos. Burzghash could now survive in the wild on his own, and he was instructed by his father to run, and never look back. Urgakh rode out on his warg to meet the villagers in battle, and was taken captive after slaying many men.

Burzghash spent the next several years as an uneasy, barely-welcome citizen of a Rohirric village, and after a year, was befriended by the local blacksmith, one of the best in Rohan. He originally only helped Burzghash out of pity, but was soon becoming attached to the half uruk. He was trained as the blacksmith's apprentice and grew up to be a strong man physically and emotionally. Burzghash is a fine smith, but a far better fighter.

Appearance: Burzghash has long black hair that he tries to keep as clean and orderly as possible, unlike most orcs. He has black eyes and large tusks. He normally wears a wool shirt, leather pants and belt, and no shoes. He is tall and broad, with large bulging muscles from his life of combat and smithing. He is remarkably human in his appearance, aside from his large teeth, muddy-green complexion, and his flat-bottomed nose.

Armament: He wields a scimitar and a jagged mace that he crafted himself along with a serrated dagger for multi purpose uses. He found a troll knife and reforged it as a zweihander, which he uses with great skill thanks to his immense strength. He has modified and reinforced Uruk Hai standard issue armor that he plundered from Isengard and a suit of Chainmail that his master helped him to craft. Their combined efforts are nigh impenetrable by any normal blade.

Personality: Burzghash, although a strong and stalwart man, has many scars from his life on the run and his horrid childhood. He does not generalize much, about anything, as he has been a victim of being judged as just another orc his whole life. He is kind and quick to make a friend, but the easiest way to get him angry is treating him poorly because of his race. He loves a good talk, just as much as he loves a good party, which he enjoys just as much as a good fight, be it friendly or not. He is a human at heart, for the most part, but an orcish blood lust still has dwelling in his heart, which surfaces during the heat of battle, and when his rage reahes its peak. He is passionate in all his emotions, good or bad, under most circumstances. He is known to have see-saw emotions from time to time.
