Brothers and sisters, treasured, and really loved by God, I am burdened inside. I have been looking at many of my Christian friends, looking at the words on this board, looking at myself, and I am upset by what I see. On some people's faces I see and hear a blandness in worship. It has devolved into simple music, and is driven by a need to tickle soul, and it is worse than coldness towards worship. I hear people praying to other people. It's like they are not praying to God at all, but to the ears of everyone around, as though the satisfaction of those who listened measured the quality of the prayer. I see a lackluster walk with God in personal devotion. I see people exegeting the bible with historical and intellectual accuracy, yet can't break away from pornography. What horrid emptiness, and what a falsehood.1 Samuel 3:3

Mostly, above all, I hear about mediocrity, or worse, open spiritual decline. The intense heat of yesteryear has past, and all we're left with a burnt shell and a dimly burning wick. We are half-hearted, and I cannot express my hatred for this. If the world-rejected truth doesn't deserve my utter attention and devotion, what does? If I can't serve something, like the Cross, so completely, so fully that I escape the terrible mediocrity of the Western Condition, then life is worse than death. I will die a failed human. I would have rathered not seen life than to willy nilly my moments away for the simple perpetuation of the race. Mediocrity is my soul's hate.
One thing is certain: the body of Christ is sick and faltering.
She is a dimly buring wick, and the lamp of the temple is almost, but not completely, out. We have a token presence. And we barely have that. We must change this. We must awake and arise as the people we know that we are called to be. I do not say try and be the people you should be, but I say to you: be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect, because in all your ways He will give His angels charge over you. By the Power of the Spirit, be the person you must be, not in falsehood or pretension, but in truth, heart, and life, through and through. I want the bedrock of your soul to know God.
He has called you to this, and will give you the ability to attain it.
Certain men and women have been given a special prevenient grace; they are doorkeepers foreknown by God (as we all are); they actually are living doors, and they have been given a mandate by God. It is their duty to step out. They must step out if the floodgates are to be opened. I say again, God has certain ones that must occupy the place they've been called to, and then the rest will have a chance to fall into place. These are pivotal humans, faced with eternal and very important choices, because their walk largely decides the viability of a revival in this generation.
Some may not believe me. I do not write to those people; may God open them. But I write to the ones that hear me, who know they have been called to a certain work. You are extremely vital to God's purpose. You are one of few, chosen to bear something very special. YOU are the key, not some experience, not some future event, not some position. YOU are the gate. Your choices will close or open that gate. The supernatural will come, and so will all the powers of Heaven, but the arrival of the dream comes as you step into full devotion to the purpose God placed in you. And as you step into that very deep surrender to God, accepting your cross, He will walk with you and in you. The God of Heaven will walk the earth in YOU. We have only an idea of what that truly means. If others get their gates open, you will be helped, but do not trust or rely on others. You must get your gate open, and help others to get theirs open. And finally, FINALLY, the revival which sits on the edge of our thoughts and hopes will arrive, and without any hesitation. God will fulfil His promise if we dare fulfil ours.
God has wells, staggeringly large wells of salvation and strength. They are gigantic. They are much bigger than the largest spiritual assault, they are much bigger than any human effort. He has special signs He will grant to display and disclose Himself. He WANTS the unsaved to hear His Voice! He is willing to speak, but only through His chosen, beginning with His 12. These 12 are not in positions of title or special recognition, whether church or otherwise. Through His special 12 (not a number, but a spiritual image of a true disciple of Christ, and a key player in the economy of God's purpose), it will flow to His church. From His church it will flow to the 'world.' This flow occurs spiritually, not physically (necessarily), and it is so important that those age-lasting 12 (spiritually speaking) step into their selected roles. We have often seen one or a few of the 12 coming into their own. Revival burns everywhere they go. Wigglesworth was one such. Roberts was another. John G Lake. These are not ordinary believers, but doorkeepers, opening and sharing everything they receive with the crowds who come to eat. And others have caught fire off of them, and come into special ministry. This is the proper order, and the spiritual purpose of God.
Let me put it this way; Israel was always God's beloved, the 'apple of His eye.' She is very special to Him, very special indeed. But she spent many years wandering in other places, expending herself in harlotry, and missing the offering of God because of her waywardness. The same is true today. If the key men and women of God come into their own, the sons, then we will have revival abundantly, and others will be raised into the Zadok and Melchizidek ministry. The healing, birthing life will flow as it should. Heaven on earth is no distant promise, but as close as those 12 are, as Christ rules and reigns in them. If they are not in proper alignment, and they rarely are, we will continue our decline. The problem is that Israel doesn't know about the blessings, or the intense importance of certain souls. If you hear my voice, you are one of those souls. Do not run or turn to the left or right. Make straight paths for your feet, and prepare yourself. There is a crucial time in the near future for many of us, in which we may, or may not, miss the purpose of God. God bless you, and let us understand that a smoking wick and low burning lamp will keep us from receiving our own prayers.
