JUDE 1
:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Step One: Building yourself up DAILY
Acts 20:32 So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up
and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
Colossians 2:
6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught,
abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Thoughts and suggestions for practicum if you please
A guest preacher once ministered by making the comparison of praying in the Spirit to the winter snow pack,
that keeps a supply of fresh water through the dry months. I find this still must be applied to a knowledge of
the Lord's Will for us individually and as a part of our fellowship.
Praying in the Spirit, as v. 20 indicates, is an act of faith.
