  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Matthew 7:26-27 (NIV)

But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. [27] The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

Jesus said that you can either build on the sand or the rock. He says that if you hear God’s word and put them into practice. There is a closeness to God that we must achieve, a deadness to self, a crucified life that we must get to in order to hear God and put what He says into practice. You can surrender all to God and build on the rock, which means that you must go to the cross and die. Or you can build on the sand and expect full punishment for your sins. But don’t think there is a middle ground and don’t think that lukewarm, modern day Christianity will save you.
