Here is another post I made, I would really like to seriously discuss this:
Well to being with, Revelation never mentions any sort of anti-christ. The word is never used. The word for the beast in greek is defined as a wild animal.

anti doesn't mean in place of, it is better translated as opposed to.

So I assume that:

anti-christ is not a servant, exalts itself, has a kingdom of this world, requires the sacrifice of others, considers equality with God something to be sought, want disciples to wash it's feet, ad naseum.

IOW, sounds like a lot of big name preachers today.

To the point the word say's in 1-2 or 3 JOHN the spirit of the anti-christ is in the world today. I have find that it is the same as the law (sin and death), the enmity, idolatry, and what 1 cor. 13 doesn't speak of. Since rev. is about the things happeaning in Jesus Christ why would it be in christ? Man speaks every sunday about sin and death etc. so why is it a surprise that it's in the church? I have fine that Cain is the perfect picture of the anti-christ (self love) having a mark on him, and killing his brother over a religous matter ( my is better then yours) and then lie to God about it. (murder, and a liarer from the begianing). If one looks a the church one see self love everwhere ( my church is right and yours is wrong). This thing was cast out of heaven to the earth and has been using the same line since eve (your in control). This makes me sick. Talking about being a brown nose in lives for it.

Good point!

... apply that to needing to brown-nose. The church can't be the rightest if the favorite people don't screen the people they want.

But then, sometimes a leader will turn down a person for a job because they see them better suited for something else... or there are already too many people involved in that one area. What was it you wanted to do?

You speak of the ways of men and the ways of God, the two should not be the same

You speak of secular business, and climbing the ladder of success, when it is God who hires and fires

You speak of sucking up & in some cases that is true, but a man in the pulpit that is motivated by yes men is not blessed of God .... quasi christian assemblies , religious, descendants of pharisees and saducees....

we are to love them , pray for them , thank God for setting up divine appointments for them ... but not to remain in an assembly where God does not reside...

"Love one another as I have loved you." - Jesus.

Somehow He has the answer for everything, eh?

How did He love us?
He loved us first, before we loved Him back.
He loved us IN our sins, in SPITE of them -- BEFORE we felt remorse, BEFORE we wanted to repent.
While we bes His enemies, He went to the Cross for us. For His ENEMIES!! For those who SPAT in His face and reviled Him!!
What amazing love.

Lord give us this love for one another today. Only this love can wash away the brown-noser social system that chokes Your life out of all humanity's endeavors and dooms them to falsehood and failure. Lord please wash us clean in Your precious grace, Your precious blood, fill us with Your holy fire, seal us and anoint us for real in authentic humility and service to You and to one another.

Amen.
