I thank God today for the work he has done in my brothers life. My brother was lost in sin and he had a heart attack at the age of 43. He realized when had his heart attack how short life is and he called on the Lord to forgive him of his sins. Today he was baptized at 12;00, Praise God. Theres an old saying the Lord works in mysterious ways. I say he knows exactly what he is doing, it may be mysterious to us, but not to him. God is moving all around us. Even when life seems to be ending new life is begining. I told my pastor the old Roy did die that day of his attack. The new Roy is alive and doing better than ever, PRAISE GOD

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I hope my bro. comes closer to Christ. I think he's going through a tough time now, but I also think he's starting to see how amazing God and Christians can be.
