Of course! That way, if you can't convert people by persuading them that Christianity has any benefits over other religions and philosophies, you can always convert them by scaring the pants off them!

I have to agree. A short time ago, I had lost faith in my religion,
and was seriously considering converting to Christianity, hoping this would help me feel less lost and scared. Then, almost miraculously, a Fundamentalist Christian on this forum posted something so hateful that I realized that I couldn't become a Christian, and I abandoned all thoughts of doing so.
I really wonder what such people think they are doing by portraying Christianity as such a hateful faith.
I think that Jesus would not approve of such things, as He said (in John) that His followers would be recognized by their love for their fellow humans!

If you truly followed God, you would take to heart what the Apostle Paul said about trying to accomplish things without love.

Based upon the interaction you and I have had in this thread, and this being the first interaction that I recall, you have no basis to imply that I have attempted to accomplish anything without love.
He never does. As far as I can figure out he believes that if you are one of people God choose to be a Christian and destine to go to heaven, it doesn't matter if you believe or not, you get to go to heaven. All he is doing here is taunting people because he believes he is one of those chosen and we are not and we are going to burn for it according to him.
In my opinion, very unchristian like behavior.
Then you're not doing a terribly good job of spreading Christ's message, are you? He kinda calls upon us to care about what our words and actions cause others to believe, after all.

I spread Christ's message by spreading His Gospel, not my words.
If you are put off by me agreeing with the words of someone who agrees with the Word of God, I couldn't care less. Your hardened heart will lead you to reject whatever you want and cause you to see a foe where a friend stands.
You've seen me agree with someone who is aligned with God's Word. The only reason you'd have something against that is if you have something against God's Word.
