I don't know either....it was kind of a strange sign off for Williams...but it seemed sincere ...I guess we'll see....I don't think that Wallace's leaving was known outside of the upper echelon at Fox.

I retired June 30, 2020 at the tender age of 49. It's a wonderful thing. I agree. Do it!

As for Brian Williams... He never felt like news anchor material to me, as if he was somehow unqualified to be in the position he was in. Sometimes he would say things that were questionable; as unnatural as his tan. I haven't owned a TV for over a decade, and I don't watch news networks. If I did, I doubt I would be watching him after he lied to the world. I do hope he stays retired.

CNN has a few vacancies to fill as of recent days, so that may be all it amounts to.
