Breaking ground

I wish to start a post on the spreading of God in my school. I would love it if you guys posteded your opininions and any advice you may have here, I always apreciate it.

First off a couple weeks ago, I took my freind to a speed the light service that my youthgroup was putting on in the church. This was his first time in a spirit filled church. He was taugh about Christ in CCD ( basicly catholic education) But he does not like a lot of catholic teachings. SO i am trying to introduce him to the Holy Spirit, and lite a fire for christ in his heart, he knows christ but does not burn for him.. I explained the baptism of the holy spirit to him, explained some differences between the AG and the catholics, and have him going to my youth group tomarrow night, so that way he can start to learn about the way we do things in the AG. I just dont want to push him into it to fast, but he seems open.
Second there is a freind of mine who is a skeptic of God but has somewhat of an open mind. Another freind of mine who is saved and who has gone to my youth group for a while ( he is seventh day adventist, though he accepts pentacostal principles and i beleive is seeking the baptism of the holy spirit) is trying to help me with getting him to think about got. We realy broke ground today and got him to talk about God, now i am trying to think of ways to prove God to him. I am considering showing him some testemonies about God to open him up, explain the scriptures, and try to open his mind a little more. If all that works i might take him to my youth group.

I will be on tomarrow night to tell of how my freind liked a pentacostal experience, and if any progress was made with the other freind.

tough undertaking ... proving God ... maybe ask God to clearly, in no uncertain circumstance reveal Himself to this person ... be prepared to know it will come in His time ... what you seem to be looking for is seeds to plant that are Truth to the ones you wish to convey to ... I find seeds spill out of asking them what they specifically have questions about ... the important part is not to answer what you think they asked, but answer specifically what they ask and keep it simple ... it's like children ... they are babes ... with children when a child asks you something it's the same ... what they ask is what they're ready for ... the Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and direct from there ... all, of course, must be to His will in the name of Jesus ... and really look around his creations while you're with them ... there's much there to work with speaking the glory of who God is ... so to speak ...

Alright, I am a little late but... here is my update.

So the freind who went to youthgroup LOVED it. He plans on coming again next week. Praise God. Him, the seventh day adventist, and I are doing a Bible study at lunch now, so that way we can introduce him to the bible with a perspecive of love and caring from god.
As the other one, it has not gone very well. He tried to challenge me ( and God kind of) If it was possible for God to create a stone that he could not lift. On the crounds that He is all powerful so he should be able to lift anything, but at the same time he is all powerful so he should be able to create everything. I told him that yes he could. Because God THE FATHER could create a stone the God THE SON could not lift. He told me that that was cheating and he was only talking about God the father, and when I explained to him you cant have one without the other, he got mad and walked away.
