I just ordered the DVD of the Captain and Tenille television show. They sang "Love Will Keep Us Together."

But the real reason I ordered it was because of the possibility of seeing Bread. One of the greatest pop groups of the 70's or any other era. They were listed as being one of the musical guests.

I have been waiting to see any clip of the band. There are few photographs of them, let alone live clips. It's almost too good to be true.

Their best songs are "If," "It Don't Matter to Me," and "Anything I Own."

By the way, "Anything I Own" was about David Gates' father who had died. Most people think it was a romantic love song.

I heard that one of the members died. I think the lead guitarist, who also sang in a rough voice.

I really liked the singing, writing, and rhythm playing of David Gates. He was the one with the high voice.

I also really liked the bass playing of Larry Knechtel. People haven't really *played* the electric bass as an instrument since the early 70's pop style. And I don't know why.
