I've read some post about some people attending Boyce or planning on going there; I plan on attending there in the fall. Who all is attending there or plans on it? I know a couple of people who are there now.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm at Boyce College of the Bible a.k.a. the leech who feeds off Southern Seminary's professors.
Glad to hear that you'll be on campus! It's an excellent place to train for ministry and to be challenged both intellectually and spiritually in your relationship with the Lord.
What's your major, and who do you know here?

My major will most likely be missions. The two people I know that go there are Carol Yearwood and Derek Pullan. I don't know them real well but they come from "my neck of the woods." I was actually up there a few months ago for the Derek Webb concert.

Swoon...the Derek Webb show was pretty good. Two days later he played Lexington with his full band, and that show was one of the best I'd ever seen.
I've had a few classes with Derek. Hip hip for missions majors (I'm majoring in that as well). It's an awesome program with some wonderful professors who are so wise and knowledgeable. It's a blessing to be at a school that has emphasis in both theology and current ministry/evangelism.
Louisville is a good place to prepare cross-culturally, as well, but I may just be saying that because I'm from here...
