both parents passing in 2004

[Gods angels]

this is for both my parents who passed away in 2004.

My Daddy 9th jan 2004 died of cancer at the age of 49......

A year has gone,
One that has gone so fast,
Unfair that you left,
But ur in a better place,
We miss u heaps,
The father we knew,
Flew home 2 heaven,
Gone so soon,
We try 2 remember the person u were,
The father we loved and adored and who cared,
we miss the hugs you gave us all,
Now an angel in heaven,
for all 2 adore.

My mummy who died on my younger brother's B'day 30th july 2004 age of 47.....

A year ago we saw a sunrise,
Pink across the sky,
It was you mum,
You were saying goodbye,
Had been called to heaven,
You answered Gods call,
You were leaving 2 soon,
Without a goodbye at all,
It's now a year,
Since you left us here,
Still loved and never forgotten,
Always in our hearts,
You were the best mum any kid could have ever gotten,
Now an angel in heaven,
For all to adore,
Never 2 be in pain anymore,
Loved by everyone,
You were, still are the best mum of all.

My heart goes out to you. To lose one parent is hard enough, but to lose both within a year... and at your young age... I don't know what to say. All I can say is that I am lifting you to the Lord in prayer. I pray God grant you strength and peace.
