CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Me waiting for the Celtics to actually play basketball.
That's me waiting for there to be competitive basketball in NBA where you don't know who is going to be in the Finals in October.

Yeah. I really liked Durant when he played for OKC. However, I have lost a lot of respect for him since he signed with a team that was already very competitive. I believe that the Celtics will be a bit more competitive next season (competitive against the Cavs). And maybe it is just my inner bias, but I believe that Utah may be more competitive out West once they have a healthy team.

Same here, I lost respect for him as well. I think that we would have made our series more competitive if Kawhi hadn't hurt his ankle, but the Warriors and Cavs are just on another level. If it is going to be them in the Finals, which I think it likely, I am not going to watch. The Celtics are getting there, but the East is not nearly as competitive as the West.

I will probably watch the finals, as that will more than likely be the only competitve series xD
