By the way, Bin Laden was killed 1 May, 2011. On the Islamic calendar, that is

27 (month 5) Jumada Al-Awwal 1432

15 April, 2013 is: 4 (month 6) Jumada Al-Thani 1434

That means that Bin Laden's second "Jahrzeit" (as the Jews would call it) was a week before the bombing. I don't know whether this is significant or not.

MARTIANS ATTACK ISRAEL

We know now, that the Al Qaeda-like attack on Eilat, two days after the Boston Al Qaeda-like bombing, a day after the Iraq Al Qaeda-like bombings and a day before the Bangalore Al Qaeda-like bombing, were not caused by Al Qaeda. The Military Spokesman of Egypt has confirmed, that the rocket attacks on Eilat were of extraterrestrial origin:

Wednesday, April 17, 2013
Egyptian Major General thinks Martians fired rockets at Eilat?

"'Egypt owns the capabilities required for knowing who fired the rockets and
from which point; based on our radar systems, we confirm that no rockets
were launched from inside Egyptian territory'..."

You speak as though you're the bomber. Why DID you do it, then?

No, he speaks as someone who thinks about as highly about this whole number-fetish people seem to have going on here, as he does about the ridiculous conspiracy theories about how the moon landing is a fake, how Elvis is still alive, etc.

...and I imagine you believe the fact that Tim McVeigh bombed the Federal Office that directed the Waco Massacre, on the anniversary of the massacre, had nothing to do with why McVeigh did the bombing?

No, Eightfoot speaks as though he's CERTAIN! Is this his confession?

PS You're all going to look like big idiots, when the Feds finally conclude the obvious, that this was an international terrorist attack. Heckle now, while you have the time. Oh -- and then shut up, please.

I'm saying that if we know it's them, like by video proof, then the trial is useless. But if we don't know if it was them, then why not a trial? It's pointless.

I'm sure that the local colleges in your area offer remedial Civics and Government classes. You might learn a thing or two.

Someone on the radio brought up that Fiesta celebrations start here soon in San Antonio, police will be out in force but still, it'll be huge crowds of people. I never go out to it but if I was so inclined I'd show up just to show whoever this is, that we wont be bullied into fear.

There is literally not a single date in the entire year that you couldn't draw a post hoc link to after a terrorist attack, especially not if you allow yourself an entire week as a margin of error.

Go ahead and try. Name a single date that doesn't correlate within a week to some historic happening significant to either Jews or Muslims.

No, Eightfoot speaks as though he's CERTAIN!

I speak as someone who is unimpressed by basic logical fallacies and rectally-extracted assertions.

PS You're all going to look like big idiots, when the Feds finally conclude the obvious, that this was an international terrorist attack. Heckle now, while you have the time. Oh -- and then shut up, please.

It will either rain on my house tomorrow or it won't.

Suppose I claim to use my magical powers of divination to conclude it will rain on my house tomorrow, and it does. Does this fact lend any credibility whatsoever to my assertion that I gleaned the outcome by using my magical powers? No.

Similarly,

The bombings are either domestic or international. Those are the only two options, unless you want to consider interplanetary or interdimensional.

That you might be able to guess correctly (and that's all you have - a guess) from a binary set of possibilities is hardly remarkable. Even if you get it right, it does nothing to validate your line of asinine non-reasoning.

Try and make me Come at me, bro!
Also: This WAS a terrorist attack, but it's more than doubtful (to put it mildly) that al-Qaida was behind it. It was too amateurish.

Come at me?? Why on earth would I want to do that?

I'm glad people are finally coming around to the fact that this was a terrorist attack instead of a "lone wolf" operation. Maybe in a few years, they will accept the fact that it wasn't the work of a Fundamentalist Christian (aka a "crazy").

Captain, please explain to me, why you think this was "amateurish". The bomb was made according to directions spelled out by Al Qaeda, the case has law enforcement officers baffled after three days; and if the attackers wanted to demonstrate their power over America, as they did on 9/11, they are doing a pretty good job of it.

The Boston Marathon had good security coverage -- in fact, some of the best paid and equipped security experts in the world (the US Government) were scrutinizing the event; yet the two bombers (at least) pulled it off and got away. If I were a common criminal, I would like to be "amateurish" like that. So please, tell me where they have been stupid. I'm sure many would like to know.

Meh, I'm not convinced it was a terrorist attack. We really won't know that until we know who did it and why. If it was just a nut or two who felt like killing/maiming a bunch of people because, well, why the hell not (a la Newtown)? Then I wouldn't classify it as terrorism. I agree it's unlikely that someone would use this sort of tactic "just because". That's something I'd expect them to use a gun for and just go out in a blaze of "glory". It's still, IMO, premature to really call it terrorism.

The fact that nobody has yet to claim and responsibility makes it feel less like terrorism. There's no point in committing an act of terror unless it's pretty obvious why the attack was made
