Border collie

Does anybody have a border collie? We have one in the neighborhood. She comes over often. She is so smart and beautiful. She wouldn't hurt anybody, unless they were trying to hurt someone else.

Border Collies are so sweet, I love them, they are really affectonate. I have rescued several. Right now I have rough collies and shelties, I might be getting a deaf aussie too.

Border collies are considered one of the smartest breeds. I'd definitely consider one if I was looking for a dog.

I've only ever had Labs but I think if I ever got my own dog it'd be a collie..absolutely nothing against labs..I'd definitely want one again in the future but I'm curious to try a collie cuz they're so gorgeous and smart

I have a Border Collie

He is getting to be an old man now

at 11 1/2 . His name is Boots.

They are great dogs. he was a breeze to train.
They are VERY friendly. I will miss him so much when he is gone.

I have a Border Collie, and he's only one year old. He is smarter than I am.... truly. He understands everything I say to him, and he seems to know the right thing to do. He is also a little stubborn, but that is his puppyness still in him, I think. He is a beautiful dog.

they are amazingly smart, we never even had to train Patches, she just figured out everything on her own. We had a small herd of goats several years ago, and she just took right to helping herd them around without us having to teach her anything

and they are amazingly gentle, she would even let the farm cats and wild rabbits sleep in her dog house (although not at the same time ) and if there wasn't enough room for all of them together she'd be the one to get out and sleep outside. my mom found her doing that a couple of times, even when it was snowing outside and she was covered in white

Oh that is very interesting! Our Border Collie would LOVE to have a herd of something - anything - as he definitely has a strong herding instinct. He herds US around everywhere. He loves our cat, and babies him as though he were his own. He is very loving and attentive to us all. Yes, I could go on and on about him too.
