CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I do not have a pet. I'm in college, so it's a little hard to have a pet around, because dorms don't allow any animals but fish, and quite frankly, my history with fish leaves something more to be desired. AKA, more life for the fish.
If I had a dog though, I'd play with him. I love playing with dogs, but they'd have to be a dog of a little bit more substance, but not overpowering.
Um...my dad and the Appalachian State University cafeteria ladies do most of the cooking for me!

Good afternoon!
I'm doing just wonderful. I'm in between packing and moving and heading off to Appalachian State for my sophomore year.
Hm...my favorite color is all the colors except the yucky shade of brown. There's good shades and there's not so good shades of yucky brown.

Um...the past few years and finding my best friend is probably the top of the list. Since I've met her, I've grown up a whole lot. So that can qualify, I think. What do you think?
Um...she's always persistant. She's always level-headed, always willing to lend an ear and just be there, even when she doesn't agree with me. She looks out for me and is loyal and loves me. How she loves me!

I think thats somewhat similar to what I would say. Think most of my best memories are with my friend Daniel when we went to florida, concerts, or just hangingout.

When you finally figure out what friendship is all about, you suddenly realize why everyone is desperate to find that "one" best friend. And the whole world is in perfect order all over again. It's very nice.
I'm talented in the arts. I paint, I'm a theatre major...and I'm pretty good at choreography, just don't ask me to actually perform it!

I do, I just don't have easy access to them. All of them, save one is currently a work in progress...meaning I'm my own worst critic, and none of them satistfy me yet. I've packed them up for my move to college. So once I unpack them, Ill be sure to take a photo!

School is going very well! I love my classes, I'm happy to be around my friends all over again, and the work I do is very interesting to me, so I'm a pretty happy camper.

hm...my most treasured possession, naturally would be my friends and those that I love, but those aren't things, they're people....
I have this like metal box that I've been collecting everything that anyone has ever sent to me, like cards and the like, and it really means a lot to me because it shows me that someone went out of their way for me. That's awesome!
