There seems to be so many of them these days it's hard to know which ones are not worth their paper. I'm not sure if people are allowed to suggest good ones on the forums (Jennie), preferably Christian ones.yes; I even took a class on marriage at my university and I had to read a lot of marriage/relationship books then. Since then, I read new books on the subject for my own enjoyment and enlightenment.
I've seen cookie jars labelled "Eat one", picked one and ate it and got slapped heavily on the wrist before*.Why wouldn't people be allowed to recommend books to one another?
That makes me sad that you would be fearful of that........a bit too mind policeish.....
I'm sure it's OK as Jennie will confirm shortly. Forums usually like to stay away from advertising. It can get out of hand quickly.GAh!!!!! You got in trouble for sharing book titles with people here? This horrifies me...............
Which were the good ones? You can swap book titles on here.
As for the OP - yes, I read books on marriage; both now and when I was single.
Do they give you that fake vibe like they're written by people who just want to make money by stating the obvious or do you just feel that the bible alone is sufficient for marital advice? No, I don't feel like they would be of any use to me.

I haven't made up my mind on them yet.
