Hi guys,
I've been studying Catholic ecclesiology and I noticed the office of the prime minister in Is 22 is reinstituted by Jesus and so peter is the 'prime minister' - the pope. I also noticed how Jesus talks about the pharisees sitting on the 'seat of moses' (Matt 23:2). With these things in mind, are there any historical books that explain about old testament ecclesiology?
Or more specifically, are there any books on ecclesiology in the Davidic kingdom before it the jews went into Babylonian exile?
Please let me know, cuz I'm itching to read anything on old testament ecclesiology, seeing how it reflects Catholic ecclesiology =)
God bless!
