How To Listen So Your Child Will Talk.

Anyone read it? Recommend it?

The school my OS goes to is having a parent work shop about the book and I'm wondering if it's worth going to. A local Pastor does the lecture and it's free so it caught my attention

I've read it (even though its for "bigger" kids) and recommend it.... free workshop sounds cool to me.... can't do any harm right??

I've read it as well (the one Leanna is referring to, which I assumed you were referring to as well). Very informative and I would jump at an opportunity for a free workshop around the concepts presented. I definitely feel the skills I learned in that book helped my relationship with my child.

I've heard of the book, but haven't read it.

I would definitely go to the workshop - I'm not a big reader of parenting books, but will attend workshops and lectures on parenting any day of the week, Maybe that's just me. It's not that I don't read, it's just that I like to be able to talk to people about things as well.

Yes...that's the book. I just took a shot at the title with out researching it

Just wanted to add that it is also one of my very fav parenting books--and one which has been the most effective in giving me more tools to communicate effectively with my kiddos.
