Blues Like Jazz?

I was wanting to know if any of you have read the book, "Blue Like Jazz" by Donald Miller? It has been a very popular book to read here at my university and I have never heard of Donald Miller until now. So I was curious as to whether or not any of you guys have read it and your opinions about it.

I just started it - on recommendation of my 20 year old daughter. So far I think it is geared more towards folks your ages. Give me a couple of days though and I'll get back to you with more input.

I've skimmed through it, and was not impressed. Poorly written and contains poor theology, IMO. The author tries too hard to make theology "relevant" to the post-modern minded twenty-something crowd. Two thumbs down from me.

I liked it. It really made me think about like... my political position and stuff. As a matter of fact... I am less right than i was before, however... I'm still right wing heh.... as for in canada, i only have one choice for right wing so... yah... that was the most that I got out of it. It's really cool.
