Blooming Where You're Planted!

You know I love Paul, and I want to share a little about him!

I titled this devtion, blooming where your planted because of Paul's experience, in jail. He still managed to have God's peace in there, and he bloomed.

Phill. 1:12- But I want you to know , brehren, that the things which happened to me have actually turned out for the futherance of the gospel.

1:13- so that it has become evident to the whole palace guard, and to the rest, that my chains are in Christ.

I just want everyone to think right now about a bad situation you've been in, or are in right now, and try to think of how you can or could have had peace wiht God, fuhtering the gospel.

How could you have bloomed?<IMG onmouseover="this.style.cursor='hand';" style="CURSOR: hand" onclick="smilie('');" alt=confused src="http://www.christianforums.com/images/smilies/confused.gif" border=0>

Thanks so much for sharing this. It realy speaks to me.

It realy makes me think about how different types of seeds require different growing conditions in order to germinate.

Some seeds require a period of complete darkness in order to germinate and then have to be brought out into the light once they do. Others require total exposure to the light in order to germinate.

Some seed requires a cold treatment. While others need to be exposed to extreme heat by fire.

Some seed requires little treatment of any type at all, they readily self sow. While others require a scaring proccess in which they need to be scratched up, or damaged on the surface.

I can't help but see how God works in each of our lives in much the same way in order to get us to grow. Yes we are the seeds he has planted! May we all Bloom where he has planted us!
