Hi and peace to you, if you have place for it,
This is not at all important in the scheme of things but I'm wondering why there are there are two separate places on CF for blogging. After several months I've only just realised ( yea, too true ) that there are the blogs that one accesses from the tab at the top of main page and there are the 'Christian Forum Blogs' in the Hobbies and Interests section.
So why, what's the difference?
If you blog or have blogged what are /were your motivation for doing so?
Also been wondering about how many read all these many and very varied communications.
So let's have a poll - Yea!

Howdy Fish; how's it doing over on your side of the pond? So you want to know what the difference is? One you access from the tabs on top; and the other you access thru the forum lists. Ha!:p

Reminds me of that movie "Mr. Blandings builds a house" with Cary Grant. They are drilling a well for water and digging out a foundation for the basement. And the well driller had went down like 150 feet and finally hit water at great cost to Cary; then they hit water digging out the basement at 10 feet, not more then 50 feet away from the well; and Cary asks the driller why he couldn't get water any sooner were the well was; and the driller says "well; it seems the water over by the house is at 10 ft under ground; but over here, the water is at 150 ft under ground" I know it's simple and corny; but it cracks me up every time I see that movie.:)

Until I read this post ; I wasn't aware there was two ways to get to blogs; either; and been here almost 4 years; with my lurking in the beginning. I have looked at them; but only through links off people's profile pages; I have wondered about the different lay-out of the two but chocked that up to the software.

So; do you want my best educated guess? (educated by reading the backs of cereal boxes in the morning) the ones in the forum list under; hobbies, I & E; are the original CF blogs, they go all the way back to July2003; the beginning of time for CF.
And being a blogger doesn't bode well for you staying around CF; none of the first pagers are still here; in fact most only stay for a few months. The blog roll on the top menu bar; is a newer addition; and came in when we got our new software; spring 2015. You can tell; it has an antique look to it; as a lot of new things do now days.

I'll check around and see if I can find out for sure; but it sounds plausible; right?
Well have a good day over there matey; and now that the UK is no longer in the EU; are you going to have to move back? just kidding. Cheers and peace in Jesus.

Yo Mnorian- Thanks mate!
Lol I can see the expression on Mr Grants face when they tell him.
One of CF's many charms is its labyrinthine architecture.
Ah Europe!?, a definite 'watch this space'. I imaging the Illuminati are not best pleased.
Maybe I should consider doing a Brexit Blog
Go well

Now there is one blog I would read. You as an ex-pat Brit living in France; must have a unique outlook on the whole UK-EU debacle. Sharpen your electronic pen and get to work; the whole European theater is one big mystery to most Americans. Cheers!
