Was going to maybe stick this dream in my other thread about a sharing the gospel dream but it's too long really so will just post it here. In two minds about posting because I feel like I've posted quite a few dreams on here and I don't know whether I should share them all. Nonetheless it is interesting to hear your interpretations and thoughts, because as I mentioned before I've only recently started taking note of my dreams. So here we go:
Blind lady dream
There was a blind, quite old lady standing on a street in the centre of Glasgow (where I study). She was lost and needed assistance. Other people had passed her by, but she wanted to find her way home. I linked arms with her and led her in the direction of her home. After asking her a few questions, we headed east along the street. As we walked, the city began to give way to countryside. I was describing the surroundings to her as we went along, to make sure we were going in the right direction... we passed a wooden hut with green paint on the outside and up above us outside the building there were men processing timber logs (turning them into planks or something). Soon we came to a bridge crossing a river (I think). We crossed it, and at some point either after or before the bridge I asked for directions again (left or right?) We turned right and started heading downhill, through quite a built up/industrial area I think, towards the docks. At the bottom there was a jetty/pier, with small rowing boats tied to it. People (who were folks from my house group at my church) suddenly turned up, or rather I was aware that they were there. I untied one of the boats from the end of the jetty and brought it to a point where the old lady (and I) could get in. I think my friends from church also helped to get the lady into the boat, before all crowding in themselves (must have been about 10 or so...). While somebody operated the outboard motor, I steered the boat and gave directions. We went underneath the same bridge we had crossed earlier, and came out into an open bay (the waterfront looked a bit like my home town). Once we were in the bay, however, it looked different. It was mostly green on the shore, with towering hills and one big mountain in the middle. When I had described it to the lady, she informed me that her house lay at the bottom of the big hill. I steered in the direction of the hill and as we got close I saw that there was a field, and at the end of it was a small cottage. I think there was a gate at the bottom of the field, next to the water. I read out the name of the cottage to the lady, and she confirmed it was her house. Then she said something about £50 notes that she had that she would give out to people... of course people in the boat got quite excited about this, and were looking at each other in disbelief that the lady would have so many £50 notes to give out. I don't think I was that interested though. I offered to lead her to her front door, but she declined and instead ran joyfully there...
