  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Praise the Lord!

I have four praises.

We live in the country surrounded by trees, depend on a well for water and propane for heat. When the icestorm hit we lost electricity, water, and were nearly out of propane. My grandma is 87 years old, so things were not looking very well.

Our first blessing was that some of our relatives were only out for a couple of days. When their electricity came back on, they invited us to stay with them. Thank you Father!

Our second blessing is that we finaly got power back. We were out for seven days. Thank you Jesus!

Our third blessing is that while we there was alot of trees to come down on our property, the only damage to structures are a smashed gate and some down ckicken wire. Thank you Holy Spirit!

Our fourth blessing is that we were able to get propane. With the high demand of propane, the propane company was inforceing a minimum purchace in order for them to deliver it. Even though we could not afford to minimum at this time we called to have some delivered anyway as we desperatly needed the propane. The driver of the truck turned out to be someone we know, and they offered to sell to us bellow the minimum. If he had not, I am not sure what we would have done. Thank you God!

God is faithful to all who trust in him, do not forget this. Praise God!
