Notice of intent to start a similar game to a certain members here...

Since that game has not re-opened and several of the players have approached me privately I plan to start a similar game on Monday after I return from the coast for the weekend if the original is not up and running by then.

Is there some sort of issue going on? Its starting to look like there's some competition starting in the forum when I see posts reported on certain threads lately.

I'm not exactly sure it's 'netiquette' to take over another person's thread idea - unless the person is permantently ending it of course....

I'm starting to get concerned with this for the forum. I will gladly delete this post becuz I have no intention of creating waves and I don't want to contribute to that - but I do want you to know that I'm getting some concern in what appears to be an issue forming here.

Several of the game players have contacted me privately and I have declined to this point because I am trying not to increase the existing tension..

Normally I would have contacted the person privately but that option is not available to me. So I posted a public intent to have a new modified game based on a similar idea in hopes of avoiding getting reported again...

I would prefer the other game re-open...

First, become a Site Supporter if you are not one already...

Second, find someone at a similar Rep level and offer to exchange/trade reps...

Third no matter what make sure you share ALL of your reps everyday...

If you have reps left look for those with higher reps to share with... beg nicely whenever and wherever you think it's appropriate ... It's a process, be patient and faithful...

It took me 6 months to make my 1st million here...

Woah!! I hadn't notice your rep amount before! Way to go!!! By the time I'd been here for 4 years and 3 months, my total rep was less than 33,000. It seems impossible that I could ever get up to your level!

I think the Rep *explosion* is in it's infancy...

I think we will see Rep Scores in the Billions in months..

At a billion one hit = a STAR...

It will all move up exponentially from here as I see it... with the advent of 40 Reps a Day for Site Supporters...

Thus the cost of Stars will go down and more and more people will be able to afford them and more people will be selling them.. I think Actual Star value is between 20 and 30 K currently... I would not be surprized to see Stars below 10K each in a couple more months... even less for special deals...

That's my 2 cents on the subject...

well the way I see it if you each wish to have such a thread that is fine, I am sure that there are members here that will pick and choose or share between the two threads equally anyways. myself the way I see it any 'game' as by definition does elicite some aspect of healthy competition so I have no quarrel with anyone that wants to give up thier blessings for me to show a little rep for them. I likely would not have repped anyone for any reason just because they were asking or begging for reps 6 months ago because of the way the site was set up not to ask for people to rep you, but now that there seems to be a big competition between everyone for rep power, well well there is supply and demand so be it. that is the way of economisc and social status. I would only suggest that the 'pay-out' be simialr on both (each) thread if at all possible - kind of like gas wars going on. I am sure that secretly you can and will both give bonuses or 'coupon blessings' to some of your prefered customers and that can be done in private but in the public area, I dont see why we cant have both a BP and a Shell station to fill up on blessings in order to give reps, if that makes sense. for me I am in a sense 'buying' blessings just as you are each 'buying' reputation for the blessings you give. this is all economics to me.
