I have been really struggling with my weight and trying to get started back on a diet. I signed up for weight watchers a week ago and i have failed miserably and it just isnt working for me. I have tried tons of diets over the years and the only one that ever worked was Atkins. I lost 80lbs on Atkins from 0ct 2002-2003 and then found out i was pregnant and had to quit. today i started back up on Atkins and have lots to lose! Please pray for me that i wont fall into temptation, and that i keep turning to God each and every day for the help i need!
I will give 5 blessings to everyone who promises to pray for me. Even just stop right now and say a prayer if you would! thanks.

thank you so very much for praying for me! i know how important prayer is. A diet can work..but i truly believe that with everything in life we need to turn to God for the help. I feel his presence with me today and truly believe he is here to help me! God bless!

I understand how hard it is to battle: my wife finds it very difficult to lose weight as well. A couple of years ago we both went on the "Perricone diet" (similar to Atkin's, but way more stringent), and she managed to lose a decent amount, but it's since come back. I honestly don't mind, but it really bothers her; the most important thing to me is that she's healthy, which she is decently so (she exercises 5-6 days a week). The toughest thing is that it really takes a lifestyle change in order to keep weight off.

It always helps in all of our endeavors to pray, trust in God, and have faith. He's always on our side!

Not only will I pray for you - how would you like an accountability partner? I have to lose weight too and some days it's a struggle - just like you said! I tend to be an emotional eater - happy, sad, mad, it doesn't matter the emotion - I'll eat. LOL.

We can partner up and encourage each other to do what we are supposed to do. Think about it and let me know!

thanks for sharing about your wife. I know LOTS of people struggle with the weight issue. I do believe i am a food addict and have bad cravings when i continue to put sugar and white flour products into my body. That is probably why Atkins is the one diet that really worked for me. I know i cant do it without God holding my hand all the way. I was in depression and pretty much on a sugar binge for weeks and feeling like so badly that i couldnt do anything. I think i musta hit bottom and finally cried out to God. Today has been my best food day in a long time and i know he is helping me. I really appreciate the prayers!! thanks!

I know what you mean about the sugar... LOL, you'd think I was a woman the way I crave/love chocolate! My wife is even worse!
