My husband and I have owned a 18 wheeler truck for two years - it has been nothing but trouble from day one and for the last year especially has been a continuous financial struggle. Well, this morning our driver called saying that he had gone into a truckstop and when he came back out the truck that had been parked next to him was gone and that driver had hit our truck's mirror and it needed to be replaced. We did some research and found out that it would cost over $1000 to have the mirror replaced and could not in good conscience charge that to our driver as it was not his fault. But we also could not afford to pay for it ourselves.
Well, my husband just called me and said that he had just received a phone call from our driver saying that someone else had just hit our truck again and knocked the mirror totally off this time! Thankfully, unlike the first driver who hit our truck, the second driver stopped. The company that he works for is going to have the mirror replaced on their insurance. So praise God that we'll have no out of pocket expense!
Who would have thought that getting hit TWICE in the space of a few hours would actually turn out to be a blessing for us!
