  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Bleeding

I started bleeding again late yesterday afternoon. It's not heavy spotting, or bleeding. It's more like when you're on the last bit of your period. It's also dark blood and not bright blood. It's sort of mixed with the discharge, and not like say if you cut yourself and then put a tissue on it. Its not heavy either, it's more of just a rusty, colouration on the toilet paper. I'm still bleeding a bit today... so I think I'll just rest up. Got our appointment with the antenatal clinic tomorrow... in the meantime, I'm just praying and believing that this baby is fine, and that it will live and that I am not having a miscarriage. I believe that God has given this baby to DH and I as a gift and that He is looking after it.

Lord, thank you for the gift of life you have given in this child to atheliah and her husband, thank you for the many weeks of joy this baby has brought. Please continue to protect this little baby and help him/her to grow strong and healthy. May this child be born, and live to grow in love and service of You and please bless him/her with a long and happy life.

Please take away this bleeding, and any accompanying anxiety. Please give atheliah a joyful and uneventful pregnancy. Lord, hear our prayer. Amen.

I have had a small amount of bleeding early on in this pregnancy, and about half way through my last pregnancy (Although that was mainly becuase I was doing something that I shouldn't have been doing - pushing a car...)

Have you done something strenuous? (um, including with your hubby?)

lol nope... did some washing yesterday, that's about it... and nope, nothing with DH for a couple weeks.

Thank you everyone for your prayers.

Spent pretty much all day in hospital yesterday, filling out forms, getting blood tests done and various other things checked out.

Then when we had the ultrasound we saw that the baby had stopped growing at 7 weeks. The baby sack had continued to get bigger, but the baby didn't and the sack is basically falling in on itself. So now I have to have a D & C. I think I'll wait a day or two before I have that.

Thanks again for your prayers.

Silent miscarriages are sooo hard. Has your husband got some time off work?

Praying for your family, especially this precious little one.

Eternal rest grant unto Baby O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon Baby. May the souls of the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
