what is this? i have done research on it and have came up with that it is (The Holy Spirit of God is alive and well and working in the hearts of people today. He is continually revealing to every person, the love of God and is working to bring all people into a right relationship with God the Father.

When a person comes to the end of their days on this earth having rejected the working of the Holy Spirit of God and refused to believe on the Son of God, Jesus Christ for their Salvation, the door is closed. There no longer remains any opportunity to receive forgiveness for Sin. That is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit - Counting the work of the Holy Spirit of God as an unimportant thing.

Jesus said you can say anything you want to about Him and even about the Father and still be forgiven of Sin if you seek forgiveness before you die, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

Notice I use the word Sin with a capital "S" and not sins with a lower case "s" and in plural form. There is a difference and it is important to understand the difference. We are ALL born separated from God by Sin. That is the Sin that we inherit through birth with a human, Sinful spirit. The word sins refers to the acts of disobedience we commit toward God as a result of Sin. The lower case sins do not separate us from God, but Sin does. We must be born again. This refers to the re-birth of our spirit when the Holy Spirit of God comes and takes up residence in our hearts, thus the Sin nature we were born with is done away with and we become a new creation in God's sight. Sin no longer separates us from God. If one does not accept this offer of a new beginning from God the Father, through His Holy Spirit, by way of His Son's sacrifice, that constitutes blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Sin must be dealt with or we are without hope.

If when you do something you know is wrong in God's eyes and you feel the slightest guilt for having done it, you have not committed blasphemy and there is still hope for you.)

so what i get from this is that blasphemy agaisnt the holy spirit is denying god. not believing in him. and die still denying him is blasphemy of the holy spirit. right?

Hi and great post? That passage in Chapt 6 of Hebrews has always been a controversial one among Christians for centuries and I remember when I first read it, so great a fear came over me I was actually trembling. Non-believers in GOD can hardly commit this Sin as they do not believe in neither GOD or JESUS.

Note Romans 2:23 and he is talking concerning those who both Believe in GOD but by transgressing in front of unbelievers they are also blaspheming His Name.

Romans 2:23 Who in law are boasting through the transgression of the Law, the God thou are dishonoring 24 For the name of the God, because of ye, is being blasphemed in the nations according as it has been written. [Psalm 74:10]

You seem to also have hit on something concerning SIN and sins and remembering also JESUS was railing against the Jewish Rulers with a lot of this [as did PAUL]. This same reaction can still be seen in the Jews today of whom JESUS was sent to Redeem and Save them.

The religious rulers were not in danger of committing the unpardonable sin because they said that Jesus performed miracles by the power of the devil. That is not the condemnation. He says that ALL BLASPHEMIES shall be forgiven men. There is not a sin that you committed yesterday but what if you come to Christ today He would forgive you and accept you. His mercies are higher than the heavens. What then was their problem? They were expressing an attitude of unbelief which was persistent and calculated rejection of the activity of God toward them.

They were resisting the Holy Spirit, striving against the influence of God acting upon their minds and hearts. Notice that later on Stephen was brought before this same group, and he said to them the same thing the Lord Jesus had said: "Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye" (Acts 7:51). They were doing the same thing their fathers had done. In Christ's day they were resisting the Holy Spirit, and the same condition exists today - they are still resisting the Holy Spirit.

Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost can be understood as a continued and persistently stubborn rejection of the gospel of salvation. This would be an unpardonable sin because as long as a person remains in unbelief, he voluntarily excludes himself from forgiveness of sin.

Rejection of the gospel of Jesus is not a sin that condemns you because, unless you were born of Christian parents, you were already condemned because of Adam's sin.

A person can be born, live a sinless life, and still go to hell when they die because they never got out of the condemned family line they were in.

Romans 5:14 (Amplified Bible)

14Yet death held sway from Adam to Moses [the Lawgiver], even over those who did not themselves transgress [a positive command] as Adam did. Adam was a type (prefigure) of the One Who was to come [in reverse, [a]the former destructive, the Latter saving].

I know this is almost impossible today, but I was just wondering, what if you never knew of Jesus? If you were part of some isolated tribe or something?
Excellent question: How does one reject something they never knew?

Is their fate similar to those that died before the birth of Jesus?

You'll probably have trouble finding an authoritative answer. When it comes to the subject of salvation, there is quite a bit of debate. Soteriology is the branch of theology that deals with salvation.
