Blameless vs. Sinless, Open for discussion.

One is a "power" coming onto people, and affecting them (their actions).

The other is a father hugging his child's neck.

Both are a descent - so in this case it seems the difference is in the source and the 'distance' or origin of what descends.

(But also, in the parable, the father is the Father - so as the Father is God, it would seem the origin of what descends is still God. Like the prodigal son - all who are alienated from God and 'misuse' the inheritance given to us - the disciples "came to themselves" and followed Christ - and were given of the Holy Spirit.)

Can I be sinless? What a goal!

I better work on being blameless right now.

Take care of one another.

God be gracious to me a sinner.

You can over the next 60 seconds be sinless, but not by trying to keep from sinning. You can be very active in doing good stuff allowing the indwelling Holy Spirit to be fully active in doing everything (they become his results and not yours). You can quench the Spirit at any time and do whatever you want, for the Spirit is not going to be involved in sinning.

If the Lord comes before he dies?

Are you equating death with sinning?

Yes, but not ones personal sins... sin in general caused death to take control over us.

Forgive me...
