that didn’t happen to me, but when I met him I knew he could see my heart and what was going on around me.That sounds similar to my experience with him, where we communicated wordlessly.
yep, plus if God is Who He says He is, we should not be surprised and our default should be to repent.
praise God!I keep a private file, which I refuse to disclose to any except my elders in the faith, which contains a record of things I have been blessed with that are affirmative of the faith, which never came as a surprise but which always seemed at the time … inevitable. Sometimes in one’s daily life one can forget about those things, but God calls me back when I wander too far off the path into worldliness.
A recently canonized Romanian saint, Arsenius (Boca) of 'Prislop', is said to have "teleported" to his mother's funeral, while being in prison during the communist regime.
Outrageous (though not surprising)Indeed.

Furthermore, repentence is misunderstood in the Western Church which lately has tended to remove various confiteors from services and adopted a toxic blend in the liberal mainline churches of semi-universalism and crypto-Pelagianism (actually one Episcopalian bishop called for “the theological legacy of Pelagius and his contributions to the church” to be re-evaluated i.e. he was not a heretic but potentially someone worthy of veneration … I pray for these people because they are suffering, imprisoned contrary to their knowledge. For repentence from sin while it may entail discomfort is also liberating. Occasionally like with any chronic illness we relapse, but Christ is there to forgive us and to send our Lord the Comforter and Paraclete to our aid to quickly bring us back to where we were.
Fascinating. There is a wonderful book, unfortunately out of print, called "Experiences During the Divine Liturgy" which gives account of a great many miracles which have occured in the context of the Divine Liturgy.
Why would it be specifically cardiac tissue?Have any of the orthodox miracles been forensically analyzed, confirmed as cardiac tissue?
That was the forensic verdict at lanciano, buenos airies, , tixtla, sokolka and legnica .Why would it be specifically cardiac tissue?
sorry, but we absolutely do not have the same Eucharist. if we did, we’d be in communion. We have the same eucharist, whatever difference in words we use to describe a mystery beyond words.
Catholics accept the validity of orthodox Eucharist. .as one example, we’d absolutely reject that the Eucharist would reveal cardiac tissue.
we don’t. if we did, we’d allow you to commune. Some , not all, orthodox accept the validity of catholic Eucharist, but not the words describing it, As far as I am aware? .
that’s fine, although I am skeptical since Christ’s deified flesh isn’t subject to fallen, scientific inquiry.I don’t know if you know : In scientific terms the identification of cardiac tissue where once was bread is beyond reasonable dispute in the five forensically analyzed ( so called) miracles . Nobody gets to chose what happens, we can only observe. Cardiac tissue is what is observed. It is living too , demonstrated by leucocytes.
On the last point read up on Them.we don’t. if we did, we’d allow you to commune.

except Christ’s human nature was perfectly deified from the moment of His conception. if the Eucharist becomes fallen human nature to satisfy science, it doesn’t heal.I would add to “ isn’t subject to scientific enquiry “ - “ unless He chooses to allow it”
its His decision surely?
Alas our rationalisation of why he might do this or not , is not His .except Christ’s human nature was perfectly deified from the moment of His conception. if the Eucharist becomes fallen human nature to satisfy science, it doesn’t heal.
except His humanity is unfallen, so it’s not really Him.Perhaps he chose do this just to remind an unbelieving world the Eucharist “ really is me”
