Not necessarily. A lot of the Greek islands were under Venetian control for long periods and they have left their mark on the culture of those islands. I don't remember which island St Joseph was born on but I know it had been heavily influenced by the Venetians
Can you give me more details about this miracle of our elder Ephraim of Arizona?he did that to my Godfather and a friend as well. they were both on pilgrimage and one spoke to Elder Ephraim in Arizona and the other in New York. factoring in the time zone difference the conversations were only 10 minutes apart.

I want to know the name of the monasteries from Arizona and NY where they met Elder Ephraim and how they realize after those pilgrimages that they have talked to Elder Ephraim at 10 minutes distance.what kind of stuff do you want to know?

Very interesting. I know a similar report of bilocation with Elder Ephraim from Kyriacos Markides second volume "Gifts of the desert". A person tell the author that someone visit Elder Ephraim at st Anthony and than go to another monastery (miles away) and learn that elder Ephraim was there as well. The fact that there are independent reports about the fact that our Elder did such things confirms that he is a saint.one was at St Anthony’s in AZ, the other was at St Nektarios in NY. they realized it because one spoke to Elder Ephraim after a service, and they realized the 10 minute difference when they took into account the time zones.

Yes. My priest has a copy of it.There is a wonderful book, unfortunately out of print, called "Experiences During the Divine Liturgy" which gives account of a great many miracles which have occured in the context of the Divine Liturgy.
What about Saint Ansbert of Rouen? There is an abundance of such miracles in the Orthodox Church, except perhaps stigmata, as that seems to be a purely Roman Catholic thing (although some Moslem mystics have experienced the "wounds of Mohammed").
he also banned dangerous animals from the monastery grounds, and you can see animal tracks going to the border, then turning around at the border even with no fence or wall.

yes. usually healings or getting a vision of the bread and wine becoming the Body and Blood.
Another question is has there been Eucharistic miracles recorded in Orthodoxy?
I do believe visions and dreams are possible.
yep, plus if God is Who He says He is, we should not be surprised and our default should be to repent.Indeed. I have very strong reason to believe our mysteries are efficacious, but I don’t say anything else on the matter, because of the confiteor ante communionem - I don’t want to talk too much about our mysteries to those who might be hostile to the church.
they knew me by name before I told themAnd I can confirm that there is no wall at St. Anthony’s, and walking around at 4 AM after the DIvine Liturgy or in the middle of the night before it if one is wakeful, one feels completely safe. I also became friends with the night watchman and enjoyed riding around with him in his truck in quiet contemplation; he told me a little bit about his background and the monastery’s focus on prayer, but we mostly just were present together. I love that place. I hope to go there shortly for the first time in a decade (I tried to go there in 2017 but it didn’t work out).
