I firmly believe in being as mosdest as possible. Therefore, when I get married, if by some chance we end up with a pool, or end up....ugh..... at the beach this will be what we will look like:

Blind posting, kind of;
It's a shame you decided not to goPersonally i'm not overly keen on bikini wear, but whatever individuals feel comfortable in. If it's to show off their body that is their business, i'll stick to sun dresses/board shorts and tank tops. I'm quite happy looking frumpy next to bikini clad friends
This.
Honestly, it's all about intent. In some cultures that aren't so hung up on nudity, a thong bikini or sunbathing topless is not about getting attention, and barely makes the notice of other patrons. Heck, I'd argue most who wear a bikini of some sort are just looking for something they feel comfortable in at the beach.
You can be flagrant, tacky, and attention-seeking in a turtleneck. The litmus test for skankiness is not, and should not be based on what you choose to wear the beach.
But no man should wear, or looks good wearing, a Speedo. I draw the line there.
I had often wondered about this topic. I know a lot of Baptists won't even approve of going to the beach with the oppostie sex (which I think is nonsense), so the subject of whether wearing a bikini is okay has often made me think.
At the end of the day I came to the conclusion that a bikini is indeed essentially the same look as a woman's underwear, only a different material. I think people can try and justify it as much as they want...it is the same look. Funnily enough, what has really re-affirmed my belief that something else might be more appropriate is when I watched a show on tv the other night. A comedian (definitely not a Christian) made a point that there is no difference between a bra and knickers and that of a bikini. He made a joke that suddenly women become hysterical if someone saw them in their underwear, yet it's the same design as a bikini. That kind of re-affirmed for me that even the world knows there is no difference.
I am not saying that all women go out to show off their body and make gusy lust...but as Christians, we need to do all we can (upto a point) not to show our bodies so that other people may lust after you. Even if one bikini is not that revealing compared to others, God has made us to be attracted to each other and it is easy for us all to fall into the temptation of lust. We should do all we can not to cause others to stumble.
And I don't think putting the blame on the side of those who lust as the right response. Yes, some...some people will lust no matter what you wear. However, to have the idea that it's someone else's problem is very insensitive and arrogant.
Ah, I have no idea what spring break is like. I just imagined going to spend a few days/weeks somewhere beachyWhatever feels right for you
I understand but since we will be sharing a car it wouldn't work out like that, I would have to go to the clubs and everything with them and I do not want to.
Its going to be wild and full of people on the beach, i will wait after spring break
I've always worn one pieces, I'm modest so I don't like showing off that much skin. I don't think it's appropriate for myself. What you wear is up to you and God in the end. If you think you would be comfortable infront of God in it, and He's okay with it. Then go for it!
haha great response. Do not rob me of my viewing pleasure over here in Santa Monica. My viewing intent is not pure!!!!!!!
Understandable. There's lot of good-looking women, but I still stand by my point - that no man, whether he looks like Adonis or Artie Lange - should wear a Speedo. Ever.
Leave something to the imagination, Gentlemen.

Totally agree with you! REPS
Do you think a woman who is after God heart it's appropriate to wear a bikini? I know there are some bikini's that do show your all your breasts but very few are like this. I'm not talking about a thing bikini or a skimpy one
