I assume you mean the Fontana di Trevi? When I was there, it was right before Italy started using the Euro, so it was a lira coin. That being said, it has absolutely no value in today's world economy. Well, that is being a bit more technical than they meant, I believe. Cocaine was taken out of coke in 1906 I think (I may be a year or two off). New Coke was Coca-Cola's contribution to the Cola wars in the 80s. So when they went back to the coke recipe that was before New Coke, they were in fact being honest. And I believe that is what they meant.
