Those are my top picks also. To twist is interesting. I was glad the father-son won the weigh in. I didn't want the son to be there without his dad because he's too young and I didn't think the son was ready to do it by himself at home.

I hated the twist too. This is Biggest Loser COUPLES so.....

I'm definitely rooting for Jerry (the 63 year old) and the two teenage best friends who were the biggest ones there. But I really hope they work the twist out quickly or I think I'm going to have issues for the next 4 weeks.

Count me in on those who hated the twist. I mean, they were there only a week and 9 people are expected to go home and continue losing weight over a month? It takes a lot longer than a week to incoperate healthy exercise and eating habits. Maybe there is a "twist within a twist" that will be revealed next week.

I'm also on team Daniel. I really hope he goes far. There really wasn't anyone that I didn't like. There were so many people I couldn't keep track of them all for a bit. No Vicky's or Heba's (so far).

One observation on team yellow (the sisters Mandi & Aubrey). When Mandi starts really slimming down I have the feeling she's going to be a knock out. She has a very pretty face.

Shannon, one of the girls who went home (I think she was the daughter on the pink team maybe?) was arrested after she got home for throwing a bag of flour at a neighbor she got into an altercation with. For some reason, the story kind of tickled my funny bone. I mean, who uses flour as a weapon?? :D

I am excited for tonight. I just keep prayin for Daniel, b/c I want to see him go far on the show. I think he's the one that needs the most help out of all of them! That and I really want to see Jerry do well, b/c of his age and I just admire him. He shows us that its never too late to start.

Really? She used flour as a weapon!?!?!? LOL!!

The elimination last night was brutal. Jerry and Dan both needed to be there, however Ron (Brown Team dad) hit the nail on the head in saying that Dan needed it more.

Tara was my favorite last night...pushing herself to win the challenge, coming down the hill to help Dan, and giving her phone call to Blue Team guy (sorry, I'm still trying to remember all their names). She rocked. Btw, is it just me or does anyone else think she looks like Kate Winslet a bit?

Watching Bob flip out on Joelle was a bit uncomfortable to watch. I got a bigger kick out of Jillian and some of her team member's reactions to it. As of right now I like her the least, but she is no where as bad as Vicky and Heba. She doesn't seem as dedicated on being there as the others. I was hoping it would have been her and Jerry below the yellow line because I knew Jerry would have been safe.

That being said, Jerry and Estella look great! They are a wonderful example to the older population and they prove that you can be fit and healthy at any age. :)

Oh, yeah you're right! I was wondering myself who she reminded me of, but I couldn't think of it. That girl's really got the want to do this, I hope she does well.

Anyway, I'm glad to see how well Jerry and his wife did at home. He looks great, and seems very happy. Can't wait for next week! Joelle needs to get with the program or go home though...

What?! Why is Joelle still there? I think they're afraid of her partner. Joelle should be.

For real. I didn't get that at all.

Did I miss something in the show this week? During the temptation challenge, Danny wasn't even in the room. I was expecting them to show his partner eating -- a lot, based on how he seems to be doing on his own -- and then they suddenly announced the winner without ever showing him. I backed up the recording, and Danny wasn't even at the challenge.

Yea, I noticed that Dan wasn't in the temptation either. That was strange. Next week's previews are sad. I hope that doesn't mean the Orange and Brown team are in the bottom. I really really want Dan to succeed!!

As far as Joelle still being here.... um... what's up w that?? All I can say is the gloves are off as far as Bob vs Jillian. What Jillian's team did was kinda mean.

I found a link to Alison Sweeny's blog on NBC.com, and she says this:

blog said:
p.s. A couple people posted asking about where Dan (orange team) was during the temptation at the beginning of the episode. Dr. H does regular check ups on all the contestants, and he had a few questions he needed to follow up with Dan. So Dan chose to excuse himself from the temptation so he could get some tests done. It all turned out fine, and he came back after a few hours, but with so much else to cover with the busy episode, there just wasn't room to squeeze in the whole explanation of Dan's absence.

I think that could have been easily and quickly explained in a 5 second voice-over.

And yeah, I can't believe they showed us the bottom two. It's either extremely deceptive, or really suspense-breaking.

Kind of like when they were at the temptation and it looked like the sister at home ate. They showed her saying, "I've been craving tacos... and I really want to see you... so I ate" and then went to commercial. After the break, they show her saying, "So I ate nothing."

I was mad at David too. Too bad. But I'm gald Danny has lost 101 pounds and hope he loses 101 more!

We were watching Carla and Joelle and right at the beginning my wife said, "After they go back home they are not going to still be friends." I guess she could see it even then!

I think the only argument that could have had any chance of swaying my vote would have been if Carla had said something like, "Give me my chance despite Joelle. I have only been here 2 weeks with a month at home in between. Brown team has been here that whole time. If I can't keep us above the yellow line, we'll probably be gone soon enough. But I ask you for my chance. Joelle has had her chances, brown team has had their chance, please give me my chance."

If she had said something like that, there might have been any chance at all that the vote could go the other way.

They didn't show the last 2 votes, but I bet it was unanimous. Actually, they didn't need to show the last 3 votes because if it had been a tie the lower team would have gone home and that was Silver/Gray team.
