What must I do to be saved? Believe

Two people talking one ask the other the question and the answer is Believe.

How simple and anti Calvinistic.
If you believe that is anticalvinistic, then there is nothing more to be said to you than what we have been telling you over and over. You do not know what Calvinism teaches.

4. who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth

God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. This desire flies in the face of Calvin's false teaching.
A desire which, if you are not a universalist, you must admit does not drive everything he does. If it did, all would be saved, like it or not, because God wants it that way!

all major cults are pro man's absolute free-will and anti-sovereign grace , I have spoken with cult members they are without exception Arminian in their ideology.... affirming the man-centeredness of their skewed and erroneous soteriology.

Amen NBF.

I'll second that.

it would appear that is not here to help edify the body of believers. His seemly sole purpose is to defame Calvinism at any and all costs. Calling it "religious fatalism" and other such titles.

When people challenage him, it seems he often back tracks or appears to just open another thread with the exact same message.

You and I know whom he is addressing here by his statement here:

these three crybabies
Not counting this thread, he has one more just like this one in the soterology room, and one in the Baptist room also.

Who is it now that is crying, calling names:

three stooges, mooning and whining and crying, trouble makers

Who is it now that is complaining? Hum?

You have been confronted over and over, and when its proven that you are wrong, what do you do, start another thread.

You come in here and insult our theological views and then cry when we either defend it, or do something else.

You wanna know what I see from you personally?

Nothing but hatred.

Hatred towards anybody who adheres to Calvinism.

Hatred towards anybody who believes in "predestination."

Hatred towards anybody who believes in "fore-ardination."

Hatred towards anybody who believes in "election."

Hatred towards anybody who teaches Reformed Theology.

You throw out phrases like "religious fatalism" knowing full well this inflames believers in Reformed Theology, and yet you wonder why we report this.

You equate us with people like, what was it you said?

I am reminded of the Pharisees who were so obstinate and abstruse.

You equate us with the pharisees and all the while you are guilty of the exact same thing. You, just like the pharisees, have the only accepted and correct view of the scriptures.

Now ain't that the pot calling the kettle black.

You fault us for offering commentary and other sources to back our claims. And yet you seem to stand on your personal view of scriptures:

publish Scripture without commentary

At least my brethren can support our claims. All you have is your own person views.

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.' 2 Pet. 1:20 (KJV)

"is of any private interpretation:

not that this is levelled against the right of private judgment of Scripture; or to be understood as if a private believer had not a right of reading, searching, examining, and judging, and interpreting the Scriptures himself, by virtue of the unction which teacheth all things; and who, as a spiritual man, judgeth all things; otherwise, why are such commended as doing well, by taking heed to prophecy, in the preceding verse, and this given as a reason to encourage them to it? the words may be rendered, "of one's own interpretation"; that is, such as a natural man forms of himself, by the mere force of natural parts and wisdom, without the assistance of the Spirit of God; and which is done without comparing spiritual things with spiritual; and which is not agreeably to the Scripture, to the analogy of faith, and mind of Christ; though rather this phrase should be rendered, "no prophecy of the Scripture is of a man's own impulse", invention, or composition; is not human, but purely divine: and this sense carries in it a reason why the sure word of prophecy, concerning the second coming of Christ, should be taken heed to, and made use of as a light, till he does come; because as no Scripture prophecy, so not that, is a contrivance of man's, his own project and device, and what his own spirit prompts and impels him to, but what is made by the dictates and impulse of the Spirit of God; for whatever may be said of human predictions, or the false prophecies of lying men, who deliver them out how and when they please, nothing of this kind can be said of any Scripture prophecy, nor of this concerning the second coming of Christ; and this sense the following words require."

http://bible.crosswalk.com/Commenta...ftheBible/gil.cgi?book=2pe&chapter=1&verse=20

now you can report me, whatever, but it has been shown by you, that each and every post you make is view. My viewpoint, this is what i say, etc.

Scripture here tells us that we are not to accept "personal" interpretation per se. If God the Holy Spirit didn't reveal it to you, then its trash as far as I'm concerned.

So go ahead and complain about us.

As long as you keep using phrases like the ones above, as long as you keep saying that you have the only accepted and correct view of scripture, and as long as you keep coming in here and making statements about Reformed Theology that you know will insinse others, there will always be people like me and the other two "stooges," "crybabies," "trouble makers' who take you to task at every chance.

And you can quote me on that, and if you like, report me, I'll say the same thing to the Moderators.

You hate Calvinism and Reformed theology so much, that thats all you post about.

And that my brother, is the Gospel truth.

God Bless

Till all are one.

So whatever God is, that's the image of man...
Not buying it. Find scripture.
