Hey there Ya'll I'm in kind of a pickle and have been fer a few weeks now. I have been in a few relationships in the past, and when my last one ended in January of this year I started reading "I kissed Dating Goodbye" and it really opened my eye's to the things that I was doing and how I should be going about the whole "dating" sceen.

The Problem that I am having right now is that I am having trouble with my fleshy temptations to start persuing a relationship with a certain young lady in my congregation. We have a lot in common, do alot of the same things, she is one of the most Godly women that I have meet in a few years and would best be decribed as a Proverbs 31 woman.
I can not get this young lady off my mind at all. I have been praying for God to help remove the old views of woem that I had in the past and to see them as nothing more than my Sisters in Chirst Jesus.

I do not want to hurt this young lady at all and I my self have been hurt enough in the past.

I feel that GOd is allowing me to be single at this time in my life so I can pursue the ministry's that I am involved in and serve Him to the best of my abilities.
Can anyone give me a few sugestions on where to go from here?????:help:

peace be with all

Well always putting him 1st is a wonderful choice. And I think your line in the quote answered your own question.I will stand and agree with you on how you want to see women.

That's a good book that you're reading. I've read it before too, and I've also read the Boy Meets Girl book. You might want to check that one out too, especially if you like this one. They've both got good advice in them.

Temptations always going to be a present thing, so don't let that be the solo thing to just scare you off of a relationship. Although I would say it's usually a good idea to have someone specific to keep accountable when you're in a relationship ...like a mentor you can talk too, and who will help keep you on the right path.
However, if you think you can serve God better and that it would be a better thing for both you & her, then stay single and serving God is also a noble thing to do. But if you're still confused, keep seeking God about what to do. Don't worry about missing timing or something like that ..God will take care of it.
