  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I personally am a cat person. I also like birds though. Anyway, I like cats because they are independent, more clean than dogs, won't beg you constantly for attention, are small enough to fit in your lap, and they don't usually smell. I think there are also many other advantages to cats but hey I'm biased! lol

Is there any pet or animal better than a dog in these things (one or several)?
- loyalty?
- obedience?
- friendship?

I've seen dogs running that high also :) but the reason for posting about the expensive care is, even if you can aforde the inital cost ($1.5K - $2K), you still have the monthly bill ($100 - $200),

I guess that's why I still only have my Budgies :)

My cat is obedient. :) When I tell him to get off my bed and I nudge....er....push him with my foot, he does. *laughs* I dunno, my horse was pretty nice after she learned to trust me. Definitely not a lap animal though. Other than that, my rat is really nice. He likes me, comes when I call, and doesn't take a lot of money for upkeep. He's one groovy dude. I love my Henry.

I think a single sheep by itself that you spend a lot of time with is eqaul, maybe better then a dog. They Love you so much. Its great. They follow you and play and come when you call them, most of the time. And they know who is there owner and listen to that person.

I know, I know. Odd thinking that a sheep is better then a dog. but I love them.
