This was New Year's day during the annual crazy Polar Bear swim - a noisy flock of seagulls caught my attention; I don't usually like them as near the beach they get nosy and pester you for food ( and if you don't feed them they poop on you!)
But I think I quite like these guys

Got our first (low level) snow a yesterday so I managed to get one of the crocuses in the garden covered with snow - the battle between spring and winter.

Yep, also the insects too. On the 28th of November last year I happened to see a tortoiseshell butterfly outside on a cold sunny day - at 57 deg north! We do have the gulf stream to thank however for making our climate bearable.

Thanks! I love photography. I only have a 2.1 mp digi, but my photography teacher said I have a good eye for it. Someday I want to get a really nice camera.
