There was an discussion about what controller was the best in the "Console War" thread so I thought I'd post a poll. (This is a very general poll none of those special controllers you can buy unless you'd like to post about one you know and argue why its the best))

Mine would have to be the PS2 controllers! They are the perfect size and the buttons are in easy reach!

There isn't a bad controller out there, I really like all three systems controllers. Now each one has certian things that could be improved.

The Playstation has the best dual analog set up. Both sticks right next to each other, I like that. Analog buttons, are also very nice.
The controller is smaller than I like, this isn't a big deal. No trigger, I don't like this aspect of the controler. I don't like the directional pad.

Gamecube, feels real nice, but the button layouts are strange, definitly need some getting used to. It is said that this controller is the best for Soul Caliber 2. I don't like the directional pad, but the third party controller, is great.

Xbox, is the perfect size controller. Its hefty and solid feeling. Tight controlls, and the best triggers on any controller.
I don't like the directional pad.

SNES has the best directional pad.

I'd have to go with the PS2 controller. It's not real chunky like the XBox controller or super button-fied like the Gamecube controller, though the extra buttons provide more actions available to whatever you're playing without having to remember combo's.

I didn't like the XBox controller because, the first one was awful. It was huge. If anyone has read penny arcade, they had a strip about one of the guys mistaking the XBox controller for a grizzly bear. Then the smaller version came out which was like the original, but smaller. Which would have been fine but then the Start and Back buttons were right under the d-pad.

Sunstone, you must have big hands if you think the PS2 controller is small. I hope you don't go after the Microcon controller series. It's like a smaller version of the original controllers for all 3 major systems.

The SNES controller was basically the root design for the PS controller.

It is my favorite controller, but I like the PS2 controller as well.

I really like Dreamcast controller, too. =D

I am a full grown man, you are 13, of course the controller is to big for you. Just don't knock off the xbox, it will crush you if it lands on you. :)
When I was 18 I found a SNES controller that had a grip piece. This grip piece fit on the back, and made the controller bigger. I still have it, its awesome.

Nothing beats the snes directional pad.

The dreamcast is almost exactly like the xbox, but the xbox is much more refined. Its heavier, and much, much tighter on the controls.

Did you have Soul Caliber, or online for dreamcast?

Out of the choices I chose the Xbox controller but I also love the Logitech Wingman Rumble.

I'm 15 (16 Nov. 11), but I have large yet thin hands and the Xbox controller has a solid feel and is awesome for FPS's. I own a Gamecube though, and the GCN controller is nice too.

The PS2 controller is okay, but it feels weird to me for some reason.

I admit that Sony does have the easiest, smallest, and most known controller. As to why it is considered the best, however, Microsoft fixed their problems with the X-Box's controller. You don't want to know what I have to say about the Gamecube Controller except that I had a GameCube and it just didn't feel right.
