I was watching a news show last week and they were talking about how President Obama declined Germany's invitation to go there for the celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall. One of the people on this show said that some young Germans today have actually been taught that America built the Berlin Wall. I did some web surfing on this trying to find something about it but couldn't find anything. The idea sounds completely preposterous, but it's so preposterous I can't imagine someone would just throw that out there unless there was maybe some kernel of truth in it. Does anyone know of anything like this? (And I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the person who who said this, but I did hear it.)
