Just a quick question for everyone. Are the berean baptists free will baptists? I took the "are you in the right denomination" test and my number one pick was Free Will Baptist. Right now I am going to a strickly non-denom church that is not affiliated with any local or national church group. The church started up 6 years ago and has now grown to nearly 2000 people a week attending (about 500-600 members).
I was raised orthodox quaker (funny thing is that came up #10 on the list) but cannot claim to be Quaker anymore. I had to do alot of soul searching recently, and try to come to terms with some of my beliefs and just what they are...(still working on that!!). In order to join this church i go to now i have to be baptised. Seeing as how I was raised Quaker, obviously i haven't been.
Any way, back to my question, seems i am leaning towards the baptist beliefs, although i don't like the idea of Denominations, I guess it's the only way one can explain one's belief system without actually explaining it(know what I mean?), but don't fully know the differences between the baptists. Someone suggested i check out berean baptist churches(or at least their beliefs, as I am QUITE happy with my church)
Any help on this is appreciated. In Christ,
