Where is that scripture that talks about believers having their good works burned up or something, and whatever is left is their reward in heaven? I can't find that scripture.

1 Corinthians 3: KJV

15 "If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."

It simply says they will still be saved.. even if their works are faulty.. Because salvation is dependent on believing and trusting in the Atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ.. Not on works..

This chapter (and all of Corinthians) speaks to saved saints of God, and some about the world. The unredeemed of the world will not be in Heaven, but in Hades as they die, and judged there for rejecting God's "...so great salvation" in His beloved Son ---the Lord Jesus, the Christ of God. It is not about their good works. They will then be cast in the "lake of fire" forever.

The "born again" saints of God will be judged at the "judgment seat of Christ" in Heaven as to faithfulness and honor to God. Note verses 12-17 referring to "saints of God" in Heaven at the "judgment seat of Christ" as to rewards or forfeiture for not obeying and honoring God. They will be saved in soul, but with less rewards for the neglect (see Matt. 6:19-21; Rom. 14:10; etc.).
