Believe and be Satisfied​

Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone; to have a deep soul relationship with another; to be loved thoroughly and exclusively. But God says, "No." Not until you are satisfied, fulfilled and content with living, loved by Me alone, with giving yourself totally and unreservedly to Me, to having an intensely personal and unique relationship with Me alone. I love you, My child, and until you discover that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found, you will not be capable of the perfect human relationship that I have planned for you.​

You will never be united with another until you are united with Me - exclusively of any other desires or longings. I want you to stop planning, stop wishing, and allow Me to bring it to you. You just keep watching Me, expecting the greatest things. Keep experiencing that satisfaction, knowing that I Am. Keep learning and listening to the things I tell you. And you must wait.​

Don't be anxious and don't worry. don't look around you at the things others have gotten or that I have given them. Don't look at the things you think you want. Just keep looking off and away, up to Me, or you'll miss what I have to show you.​

And then when you are ready, I'll surprise you with a love far more wonderful than you would ever dream of. You see, until you are ready and until the one I have for you is ready (I'm working even at this moment to have you ready at the same time). And until you are both satisfied with Me exclusively, and the life I have prepared for you, you won't be able to experience the love that exemplifies your relationship with Me, and this is the perfect love.​

And my dear one, I want you to have this most wonderful love. I want you to see in the flesh, a picture of you relationship with Me and enjoy materially and concretely the everlasting union of beauty , perfection and love that I offer you with Myself.

I love you utterly. I Am God Almighty - Believe and be Satisfied.​

I printed this out a couple of years ago, and it really helped bring me to a more intimate level in my relationship with God. It helped me realize that He is truly the lover of my soul, and that He is even is my husband (mentioned in Isaiah), among other thigs.

There are some good concepts there, but learning to love God is a lifelong task. You can crucify yourself by trying to live out or attain an idealistic goal that is beyond where you and God are at.

It's interesting that Paul, well into his Christian life, said he would not judge his own life and ministry, as that was something only God could do.

This is so wierd because I have been wondering why God has never let me be in a relationship and this just completely answers my question.

It's as if God Himself were speaking to me through those words(maybe He is).

I did treat god as my bf before. There is where I talk to him alone. But this practise didnt last long. Maybe satan have destroy it.
Until one day, I started didn't treating god as my bf when I found a guy which give me laughter each day. But my relationship with that guy do not work out. We end out he trying to avoid me because he want me to forget him.
I couldn't accept him as non-believer and he couldn't accept me as a christian. We couldn't obey each other but we really love each other so much. Anyway, our love couldn't blind up our religion.

Now, I trying to treat God back as my bf. But i have failed. I am sad for what I have did in the past. This incident bring me a scar in my heart. I never happy at all.

God is always a true god. He will never leave us. Friends, do not ever leave Him. He is the best life partner. I have done a mistake so I wish you all do not make the same mistake as I did.

Although I knew it is hard to love god more than you love others people. Even I myself also failed to do it. But just keep in mind that You should love Him most.

I believe a lot of this makes a whole lot of sense.
Some of the things are off,
but it makes a whole lot of sense.

Even when he does give you, your love, we should still treat Him as this passage suggest in the beggining. It's a life long thing, not just until you meet your loved one. But still. Wow.

yeah it is pretty beautiful and encouraging,
yeah i agree that a few things are off and that a relationship with God is life long,
i thought about something else when reading that, what if you started dating your love before you became a christian, goes to show God definatly knows us before we know Him.

I got a copy of that froma girl in my Bible Study group many years ago. At that point it was just what I needed to hear. I actually referred back to it whenever I got a little frustrated about wanting to find a guy.

Now that I have found my fiance, it seems a little "too simple", and not really all that realistic because it talks very little of maintaining your relationship with God once you have that human relationship. But it's very good for before you're in that human relationship... really helps!

Mmmhmm. I love to see contentment in the Lord. My hearts desire is that someday, when I'm actually ready to be married - my FH will have come to the same place I am & am striving to be in- total contentment in the Lord, and knowledge that he really is ALL that we need...nothing else could ever compare. The Love of the Lord is why I'm alive today.

Keep on truckin', you guys - God's given you this season of singleness so that you can learn to love on the Lord without any distractions! He wants to be your first love.
