Is there a difference between being Saved and being Christian? i think there is. but what does that mean. i thought for a sec that maybe if you were saved that you were just saved, you dont go to church or pray but your saved. but is that true? i also thought maybe a christian or a saved christan was someone who was saved and went to church and lived there love for God out loud. is there a difference between being saved and being christian? can you be a christian and not be saved?

God Bless,

I guess it all depends upon your definitions, but I don't think there is a difference between the two. I guess the best place to turn would be to the Bible.

If you look at the verses surrounding Acts 11:26; Acts 26:28; and 1 Peter 4:16, you'd have a good idea of what the Bible calls "Christians".

For "saved" try Eph 2:1-10; 1 Cor 15:1-4; 2 Tim 1:9; among other verses.

To be saved means you put your faith in Jesus Christ. How do you know you put your faith in Jesus Christ? Well, you repent, and believe in Him. To believe in Him produces fruit, and changes you, and you become a disciple of Jesus. So no, there is no difference.
