Being Human

I've been a Christian since I was 15, and have always sought to understand my faith. One thing I have learned over the years is that any relationship I have with my Lord Jesus isn't based on what I know, it's based on what He has done - therefore, I can be wrong. I teach at my church and my favourite topic is about the implications of being an imagebearer - one who is made in the image and likeness of God. I use this to define humanity, and have two definitions of what it means to be human. The first is; "one who seeks to express understanding" and the second is; "one who has been declared holy - 'you are holy, for I am Holy' says the Lord.'"
