No, not really, because we don't know who the elect are. Suffering a tragic and horrible death does not make one righteous before God.

It is not right or wrong....it is insensitive. The speaker probably means good but just dont know what else to say. Some people just dont understand that sometimes no words are the best words.

Because a tree looks different depending on which side you are standing on. I find the comment insensitive, but I wouldnt say others are wrong if the didnt feel like I do about it.
