Friends, I have conquered most of the known world (see picture to view my empire!).

Currently I have a Population of above 4.8 billion people with a gross national product of $9.7 Trillion. My popularity isnt that great, infact I'll probably be assassinated soon enough. My prize countries include France, China, and Egypt. Why Egypt you ask? Because I plan on making the Great Pyramids my apartment!

My greatness has surpassed that of the Roman Empire. Even Alexander the Great would be pleased. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA


and yes, I have way way to much time on my hands . The game is an old dos game called Shadow President.. Anyone ever played it?

The game can be downloaded as freeware at a website called "the home of the underdogs" im to lazy to post the web address right now. If 1 were to google it, they could find it im sure... You know in the time it took me to write that, i could have just posted the link.....

Tried to install it on the first computer that I had ever bought (Compaq Presario Pentium) Windows 3.x. It would not run.

It will run on XP, but it will crash every 8 minutes or so. I installed it on this piece of junk laptop thats running 95 and it plays just fine

Sorta of like Monopoly, but as a world power? Sounds like fun. I wonder if that is what they do to make foreign policy, these days. These games give too many ideas.

Its a Political Sim. There are a number of things you can do. From sending peace envoys, improve diplomatic relations. You can order the CIA to assassinate someone or do a coup. Or you can deploy troops and invade. If you get ambitious you can even launch nuclear weapons.

Its fun, but I wish they would remake the game and add a bunch of features to it. Same format though.

that thing is garbage, it doesnt work for anything i've ever tried it on.
