Peace in Christ.
The Son of man…the life of Jesus… is to be revealed…..in our mortal bodies. When He appears (in our mortal flesh), we shall appear with Him in glory.
It is the “presence” (Greek: Parousia) of the Son of man that is revealed in us. It shines unto the “west”…to the outside people of the world who are sitting in deep darkness (the “west” where the sun had gone down). They will then “see” the Son of man shining through us and will come to that light as "clouds" of eye witnesses.
Mat 24:27
(27) For as the lightning (bright shining)cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming (PRESENCE) of the Son of man be.
The Son of man has been hidden in the heart of the earth and has not been seen because of the many false prophets who are deceiving His people…leading them astray from the path that leads to the manifestation of His life….and who do not hear the gospel of truth from them…from their “preachers”.
2Co 4:10-11 KJV
(10) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
(11) For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
This gospel….the gospel of the glory of the Christ…is NOT irradiating them to this world as they have no understanding of it. This gospel is being hid from their minds as they only deceptively preach for their own earthly necessities. They are "serving" for their own bellies to fill....minding earthly things...and so cannot understand the gospel of truth. They are perishing because of it.
2Co 4:3-5 KJV
(3) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost (perishing):
(4) In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (the gospel of the glory of Christ), who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
The revealing of the Son of man in our mortal bodies is the “treasure in earthen vessels” that we have.
The Light shines in our hearts (which is the sign of the Son of man). It is God’s witness of His Son whom we are to hear speaking to us as He testifies the Scripture of Truth to our hearing ears. The sign of the Son of man personally authenticates the One speaking to us.
We are to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God to shine toward the outside world as we are to be the public “face of Jesus Christ” to it when He is revealed through us.
2Co 4:6-7 KJV
(6) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
(7) But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
The times of refreshing shall then come from the presence (FACE) of the Lord as we shall manifest Him in our mortal bodies (being glorified in Him) to the people of the outside world who will “see” Him in us and will come to us in His glory which refreshes us.
Act 3:19
(19) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence (face/visage) of the Lord;
The people of the outside world shall surround us because of Him (the revealed Son of man in our mortal flesh). They will fly to us a “cloud” to us. They will be the “cloud of witnesses” surrounding us as they will “see” Him being revealed through us.
Mar 13:26 KJV
(26) And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
He comes with clouds (“clouds” of people of this world surrounding us) …..the “cloud of eye witnesses” as very eye shall see Him (His life being made manifest in our mortal flesh.) The unbelievers will see this "cloud"...the effects of His presence upon the people of this world... and will mourn it.
Rev 1:6-7 KJV
(6) And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
(7) Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
But as the Son of man is being revealed to the outside world, the unbelievers in the churches of men will carry on….business as usual. They will not believe in the gospel of truth when they will hear it…and will be shut out from receiving it because of their unbelief.
Mat 24:37-39
(37) But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming (PRESENCE) of the Son of man be.
(38) For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
They know not UNTIL the “flood” of the people of the outside world comes to Him…and they themselves are shut out from receiving His glory and “face”.
(39) And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming (PRESENCE) of the Son of man be.
They will be punished with age-lasting destruction. They will not receive His manifested “face” nor His glory and power in this earth because they will not believe in His testimony of the gospel of truth. They will not receive the love of the truth and be saved.
2Th 1:9-10 KJV
(9) Who shall be punished with everlasting (AGE-LASTING) destruction from the presence (FACE/visage) of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
(10) When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
They will continue on their church business as usual as scoff: where is the promise of His coming (PRESENCE)?
Like Esau, they will not inherit the blessing and will be rejected.
Heb 12:16-17 KJV
(16) Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
(17) For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
