I apologize if this is incorrectly categorized, as I am unfamiliar with this forum. I'm reaching out to you folks in search of help.
My parents run a small one-screen theater in a town of 2300. They try to provide wholesome entertainment to the community in an area where boredom tends to lead youth in other directions.
They've been fighting against the current for years- booking agents that insist they'll fail if they show faith-based movies, studios who increase their rates just to encourage them to run garbage, and now with the push to go digital or get out of the game, they're hitting a point where they have to reach out for help.
They were skeptical when I mentioned the possibility of looking online, as they love to keep things within the community. Please, if you can, help them see the Christian community reaches far and wide. Donate if you can, but if not, could you at least help spread the word about our little theater?
They do this as a hobby (a time consuming, expensive hobby), because our town needs it so desperately.
